This is a particular favourite of mine. A wintery looking Central Park in New York with a dusting of snow that adds some real atmosphere. I also applied a slight HDR effect which has resulted in the almost painting like appearance.

Taken at dusk from the top of the Empire State Building. The Flatiron Building is in the foreground and the Manhattan Financial District stretches out behind. The view looking the other way is here.

Taken from the top of the Empire State building at dusk. The Chrysler Building is prominent as Manhattan can be seen lighting up. There was just enough light left in the sky to make the photo. The view looking the opposite way is here.

Sitting at the Guggenheim

I saw this woman sitting on a bench with her head obscured by the famous curving architecture of the Guggenheim Museum in New York. I masked the bench to keep it red whilst converting the rest of the image to black and white.
