Taken for a competition entry this image formed ‘the good’ of a three image set under the theme ‘the good, the bad and the ugly‘. The image was taken at home in a makeshift light tent constructed from a box and tracing paper.

Ice Cream Target

Taken for a competition entry this image formed ‘the bad’ of a three image set under the theme ‘the good, the bad and the ugly‘. Taking this image was a particular challenge given that the ice cream didn’t stay in one place for long under bright lights! The background was added in Photoshop afterwards.

Pot Noodle

Taken for a competition entry this image formed ‘the ugly’ of a three image set under the theme ‘the good, the bad and the ugly’. Now it’s far from my right to declare a Pot Noodle as ‘ugly’, but safe to say I didn’t eat this Donna Kebab flavoured one after I’d taken the picture!

Gluttony

I originally took this picture for a competition entry, but decided not to enter it in the end. It’s pretty much ‘what it says on the tin’; a chocolate bar dipped in peanut butter. In case you are wondering, yes I did eat the chocolate, but more to the point I did scrape the peanut butter off first!

Flash lit macro shot of a UK two pence piece. Taken for a ‘flash photography’ competition. The flash was angled against the side of the coin to give the starburst effect.
